Abstract

The invention relates to a comminutor pump for delivering sewage water that contains solid matter, which is configured as a rotating displacement pump. The pump comprises an electric motor and a pump case, a fixed pump stator and an eccentrically mounted rotor as well as a comminuting device that consists of at least one fixed blade and of at least one rotating blade. The inventive comminuting device is driven via the end of the pump rotor remote from the drive shaft. The blades are configured as disks with cutting passages, said disks being arranged one above the other. Said cutting passages have circular or sickle-shaped cutting edges and at least two cutting passages overlap at least partially in at least one angular position of the rotating blade. The comminutor pump according to the invention is further characterized in that the edge sections of the cutting passages leading in the sense of rotation of the rotating blade (6) are undercut so as to form a free space between the blades (5, 6).
