Abstract
The drive circuit has a constant current source with an operational amplifier whose output feeds a transistor. The LED is connected in series with a first output of the transistor, whose second output is fed back to the operational amplifier inverting input. A component on the feedback side of the transistor raises the potential at least by the offset voltage of the operational amplifier if no or only infinitesimal current is flowing in the LED. The drive circuit has a constant current source with an operational amplifier (OP) whose output fees a transistor control connection. The LED (LED1) is connected in series with a first output connection of the transistor, whose second output connection is fed back to the operational amplifier inverting input. A component on the feedback side of the transistor raises the potential at least by the offset voltage of the operational amplifier if no or only infinitesimal; current is flowing in the LED.
