Abstract
The invention is applied for increasing oil production and oil recovery of an oil-bearing bed by subjecting the bed to the action of vibrations from the Earth's surface. For this purpose, the character of the stressed state of the oil deposit is first determined by measuring the amplitudes of microseismic waves before and after subjecting it to test vibrations. Further, at the points where the difference of these amplitudes is maximum, the deposit is subjected to the action of vibration to increase oil production and recovery, and the points where this difference is minimum are used for drilling oil wells.
