Abstract

The invention relates to a shock-resistant polystyrene with a maximum caoutchouc content of 10 wt.- %. The polystyrene has a melt-volume flow rate MVR (200 DEG C/5 kg, measured according to ISO 1133) in the range of 8 to 12 cm<3>/10 min and a Charpy impact test value (according to ISO 179/1eA, notch milled) in the range of 16 to 20 kJ/m<2>.
