Abstract

The invention concerns a helicopter with pendular piloting system and counter-rotating rotors whereof the rotor head (2) can be inclined by 20 degrees relative to the fuselage (1) and is piloted relative to the vertical independently of the movements of said fuselage. Thus, said helicopter has high manoeuvrability and stability enabling its use from steeply sloping grounds or on rolling and pitching mobile platforms such as ship decks. The invention is applicable to helicopters of all sizes, whether manned or unmanned.
