Abstract

Unless a device for the discharge of urine for persons of the female sex suffering from enuresis is arranged on the wearer's body in a leak-proof manner, urine may escape from the device during urination, wetting the clothing and causing unpleasant odours. The device described comprises an outlet orifice (12) and a projection (22) lying centrally between the labia majora which spreads the labia. This nose-shaped projection limits the outlet orifice to the vaginal region. This design permits rapid discharge of the urine, thereby preventing any leakage to the exterior due to accumulation. In addition, the region of the vagina moistened by the urine is considerably reduced, thus preventing irritation of the skin. The design of the projection as a central nose (14) also ensures high wearer comfort, particularly in association with a panty girdle.
