Abstract

The invention relates to a dosimeter, to a device for determining the radiation dose received, and to methods for producing the same. The dosimeter for detecting radiation is characterised above all in that it is both simple and multifunctional, comprising a phosphate glass body with metal atoms and a coding. The device for determining the radiation dose received by a dosimeter both detects and evaluates the high-energy radiation received by the dosimeter, at the same time allocating these parameters to the person carrying the dosimeter. The methods for producing a dosimeter are characterised particularly in that metal atoms of one or several substances are placed in a phosphate glass body using the ion implantation technique.
