Abstract

The invention relates to a cutting bed for an ultrahigh-pressure fluid-jet cutting installation in which the jet-energy-absorbing and sound-absorbing layer inside the cutting bed is formed by a granulated material which is enclosed in individual cages, and a number of cages covering the inner surface of the cutting bed are arranged side by side.
