Abstract

To provide for weapons with at least two barrels a single lock having only one striking piece (1) assigned to the striking pin (5 or 8) of one barrel or the other directly by means of the respective trigger (3 or 6), the striking piece (1) is connected rotatably to an articulated piece (2) in the manner of a toggle joint. In the folded position of the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2), the striking piece (1) is aligned with the striking pin (5) of the lower barrel, whereas in the extended position of the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2) the striking piece (1) is assigned to the striking pin (8) of the upper barrel. A catch device (1a, 2a, 9, 10) is provided for the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2). When one trigger (6) is actuated, this catch device releases the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2) together in the extended position, so that the striking piece (1) butts against the striking pin (8) of the upper barrel. When the other trigger (3) is actuated, the catch device releases only the striking piece (1) in the folded position relative to the articulated piece (2) which remains locked.
