Abstract
1. A heat pump having a vaporizer (4) for a coolant which transfers heat by way of a compressor (6) to a condenser (10) which is connected to the vaporizer (4) by a return line, characterised in that, in the return line, there is arranged an exchange vessel (20) which by means of controllable valves (14, 22, 28 and 18, 24, 26) forms a separate circuit for the coolant, respectively in series with the vaporizer (4) and the compressor (6), or the compressor (6) and the condenser (10), and which is so arranged in the return line that the coolant can be transferable from the condenser (10) into the exchange vessel (20) and thence into the vaporizer (4).
