Abstract

The pump has an impeller (22) arranged in a pump space and connected with a hub (13) in a torque-proof manner. The hub is mounted by grooved ball bearings (15, 16) on an axis (14) and carries permanent magnets (12). The bearings and the magnets are arranged in a separating can (3). The impeller is arranged outside the can in the pump space. Permanent magnets (11) of a driving rotor (10) are arranged in a section of the rotor surrounded by a mantle of the can, where surfaces encountering in the pump space with a medium are non-metallic.
