Abstract
A cellular communication terminal 1300 is arranged to transmit and receive data packets from at least one World Wide Web server 320, 340 in an Internet network 350, through linking means 360 which is typically a gateway or a proxy server. The terminal is arranged with a first memory 16, 17b containing an access point and an identifier. The server is accessed by sending the access point and the identifier to the gateway in order to identify the content to be accessed. A browser is arranged in the terminal to establish connection to the gateway. The browser is arranged, if the access point indicates a location at a second gateway 330, to automatically activate transmitter (19) to send a request to the first gateway, requesting access to a server through the second gateway. This enables the user to be free from interaction when using the second gateway. The terminal has a user interface comprising display means (3) user input means (2,4,6) to control the browser. The terminal may also contain a second memory for storing items.
