Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming blade capable of adjusting the engagement of the blade with the skin. <P>SOLUTION: The shaving razor blade unit includes: a housing 20 having a main guard 22 at a front of the housing 20 and a main cap at an upper surface at a back thereof; one or more main shaving blades between the main guard 22 and the main cap; a rear wall 506 including a rear outer surface extending downwardly from the upper surface of the rear part to an end surface; and a trimming blade 504 having a trimming blade edge which at least partly extends beyond an end surface of an inner side of a virtual extension part in the rear outer surface. The rear outer surface defines a second cap for the trimming blade. The rear part can include a trimming guard including a guard part with a spacing. The trimming blade, a trimming guard 528 and a trimming cap are supplied as an assembly to be attached to a remaining part of the housing.
