Abstract

The rivet (10) has a foot (11) with a cylindrical rod (13) comprising an end (18) deformed during a riveting operation, where the rod has another end with a connection unit i.e. disk shaped flat element (14). A metallic head (12) has an upper surface (15) visible on a surface of a sports shoe after riveting the rivet on the shoe, where the head has a lower surface (19) with another connection unit comprising arms to form a housing for the flat element. The foot and head are removably encased by respective connection units, which are cooperating with each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabricating a rivet for a sports shoe (2) a method for fabricating a sports shoe.
