Abstract

The method involves demagnetizing objects between two mutually opposing coils forming part of a series oscillation circuit. The object is stationary between the coils for a defined period during demagnetization and the series oscillation circuit is current controlled by an inverter. The desired current is maintained for at least 5 periods and the occupation time is at least approximately 100 periods.
