Abstract

The invention relates to a method for cooling a a control unit (28) of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine (4) and a cooling device (10) which cools the internal combustion engine (4) and which has a fan (22). There is provision for the fan (22) to cool the control unit (28) as a function of a detected control unit temperature (T) by means of at least one partial air flow.
