Abstract

The invention relates to a driving member (1) that can be integrated in a time piece, said member including at least one helical spring (1.1) that operates in compression or traction along the longitudinal axis thereof. The free end of the springs (1.1) is attached to a driving means (1.3) arranged so as to be capable of a translation movement parallel to said axis depending on the movement of the free end of said springs (1.1) as they unwind. The driving means (1.3) is in engagement with at least one driving sprocket (1.4) in order to generate, via the translation, a rotation of said sprocket (1.4) for transmitting the force from said springs (1.1) as a torque to said time piece.
