Abstract

Lock for safety doors comprises a latch (8) and a locking bolt (7) guided in a lock housing (6) and operated via a tumbler mechanism having lock tumblers (3) and corresponding blocking tumblers (4). All blocking tumblers are arranged on a safety locking bolt (18) which is guided perpendicular to the movement direction of the lock tumblers in the lock housing. The blocking tumblers are guided parallel to the movement of the lock tumblers on the safety locking bolt. Transfer devices are provided for converting key rotation into a deviation of the safety locking bolt up to a maximum deviation in which the tumblers engage with each other. The transfer devices are designed so that the tumblers are firstly engaged via the first key rotation and disengaged at the end of the key rotation, and are engaged again via the second key rotation. Preferred Features: The transfer devices consist of a carrier (16) moving in the lock housing and operated by the key bit. The safety locking bolt is coupled to the carrier.
