Abstract
Disclosed is a pump, especially a vacuum pump for motor vehicles, comprising a pump flange (3) and a pump housing (2) which can be embodied as a pot-shaped sheet metal housing. The inventive pump further comprises a suction port (1) which is connected to a suction chamber that is configured in the pump space (7). The suction port (1) is provided with a check valve (6) that prevents passage of a pressurizing means through the suction port (1) in one direction of flow.
