Abstract

1. Control method for a burner arrangement with individual burners connected in parallel for the combustion of liquid fuels with air and a fuel return, having the following features : a) reference variable for the burner control is the combustion chamber temperature, which can be freely selected within certain limits by means of a set value adjustment and is sensed by a temperature measurement point (1), b) the combustion chamber temperature acts by means of a temperature controller (2) on a control fitting (3) in the fuel return, c) the pressure change in the fuel return effected by changing the position of the control fitting (3) is sensed by means of a pressure measuring point (4) and used as reference variable via a controller (6), acting as ratio control, for the metering of combustion air by means of control fitting (7), d) by means of a pressure measuring point (5), the pressure of the combustion air in an air box or the like, serving to supply all of the individual burners, is sensed and used as follow-up variable in controller (6) for the metering of the combustion air and e) the position of the control fitting (3) in the fuel return effects via a control (8) in closed position the cutting-in of a burner and in open position the cutting-out of a burner, by the fittings assigned to the respective burner being switched accordingly for the supply with fuel and combustion air.
