Abstract

Conventional soccer boots taper in the forefoot region (V), between the instep and the toes, according to the resulting contour, which has drawbacks regarding foot hygiene and comfort as well as with respect to the playing technique and shooting technique. The risk of an accident is reduced while players can kick the ball with more power and accuracy and control the trajectory of the ball as the impact surface that mainly enters in contact with the ball is enlarged. Furthermore, the sole (2) is provided with a bending point (1) just behind the zone that is subjected to the maximum pressure, thus allowing the player's foot to always land with the same surface while the stress on the heel is alleviated.
