Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for achieving cloning of an inhibitory factor of DNA synthesis using functional assay.
SOLUTION: A cDNA clone encoding an inhibitory factor of DNA synthesis is isolated using a cDNA library of senescent cell-derived expression vectors. Such inhibitory factors play a role in cellular senescence, ageing and tumor formation. There are disclosed such molecules, these inhibitory factors, antagonists, antisense nucleic acids thereto and derivatives thereof. Also disclosed are diagnostic, therapeutic and in vitro use of all these medicinal components.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
