Abstract

1. End piece (5) for roller door profiles (6) which comprises, on their upper and lower surfaces (7, 8), bent lugs (9) extending over the entire width thereof and serving as points of articulation, for the insertion of the adjacent roller door profile, having a terminal portion (10) which at least partially covers the laterally open lugs of the roller door profile, with a retaining portion (11) extending substantially perpendicularly thereto for securing the end piece (5) to the roller door profile (6) and with a wind load absorbing device (12) mounted on the side of the terminal portion (10) opposite the retaining portion (11) and intended to run in a guide which is provided laterally and is open on one side, said wind load absorbing device (12) extending perpendicularly to the direction of the retaining portion (11) as well as the terminal portion (10) and extending like a hook into the guide which is open on one side and engaging behind said opening, said wind load absorbing device (12) consisting of at least one opening (18) and a guide pin (19) insertable therein, and the axis of the opening (18) extending perpendicularly both to the direction of the terminal portion (10) and also to that of the retaining portion (11), said opening being in the form of a through-opening in which the guide pin (19) is resiliently mounted and engages so as to project on both sides of the through-opening (18).
