Abstract

An agricultural separator comprises a first rotatable member 3 and a second rotatable member 4 rotatable about substantially parallel spaced axes. The first rotatable member 3 carries a plurality of wheels 1 with angularly-spaced resilient fingers 2 and the second rotatable member 4 carries a plurality of corresponding cam members 5. Each cam member 5 has at least one cam surface 6 at its periphery and the rotatable members 3,4 are arranged such that, in use, the cam surface 6 on each cam member 5 engages and squeezes at least one of the resilient fingers 2 of the corresponding wheel 1 to facilitate cleaning of the wheels. Cam member 5 may be in the form of a wheel or roller.
