Abstract
A follower unit for mounting in a lock device comprises an electrically controlled actuating means and a hub (60) having a hub axis and arranged for reception of at least one handle pin. The hub comprises a first outer hub part (62) rotating about the hub axis and arranged for reception of a first pin connected to a handle, an intermediate hub part (61) rotating about the hub axis and being mechanically coupled to a bolt in the lock device for movement of this bolt between outer and inner end positions and at least one first coupling means (65) which is movable under control of the actuating means between a coupling position, wherein the intermediate hub part rotates with the first outer hub part, and a release position, wherein the first outer hub part rotates independently of the intermediate hub part. Due to the fact that the coupling means is turnable about an axis which runs essentially perpendicularly to the hub axis, in combination with the fact that the actuating means is provided separately from the hub, a compact design is enabled and also allowing modular structure of the lock device. A lock device comprising such a follower unit is also described.
