Abstract
1. Firing control system for indirectly aimable weapon systems which comprise a weapon mounted on a support device, having a command or firing control centre and having sensor (3) for the measurement of the muzzle velocity and/or for determination of the powder temperature, characterized by - an inertial position reference and navigation device (1), which is fixed on a mass of the weapon, the angle of elevation of which is adjustable, and which in relation to a specified co-ordinate system supplies data concerning the actual position and setting of the support device as well as the setting of the weapon via an interface (27) in digital format - a communication device (2) which receives the data from the position reference and navigation device, and which is provided with an operating and command input keyboard (31) and a screen (21) and additionally has communication interfaces (25 to 28, 7), by means of which the data transfert with the command or firing control centre as well as the reception of the sensor signals takes place.
