Abstract
Mixture comprises an aliphatic acid compound (I) and an alcohol compound (II). Mixture comprises an aliphatic acid compound (I) of formula (RO-PO(A)-CH 2-CH 2-CO 2H) and an alcohol compound (II) of formula (HO-PO(A)-CH 2-CH 2-CO 2R). A : 1-18C-alkyl, 6-18C-alkylaryl, 6-18C-aralkyl or aryl; R : (D,E)C=CH(B 1>,R 5>) or H; B 1>, D, E : H or 1-18C-alkyl; and R 5>1-20C-alkyl. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of preparation of the mixture comprising reacting oxaphospholane with an olefin component; (2) a flame retardant composition comprising the mixture (40-99.9 wt.%) and an olefin component (0.1-60 wt.%); (3) a flame-protected polymer molding material comprising the mixture (0.5-50 wt.%), a thermoplastic polymer or its mixture (1-99 wt.%), additives (0-60 wt.%) and filler (0-60 wt.%); and (4) a polymer-molded article, -film, -filament and -fiber comprising 0.5-50 wt.% of the mixture, or the flame-protected polymer molding material.
