Abstract

A shaving aid delivery system (60) for a shaving system includes a razor head (12,12’) having a reservoir (62) for holding a shaving aid and a heating apparatus (65) disposed adjacent the reservoir. The delivery system also includes a shaving strip (64) disposed within the razor head, an actuator (130) and an ejection port (68). The shaving strip (64) is oriented to engage the skin of a user during a shaving stroke and the actuator (130) electrically couples to the heating aparatus to cause volumetric expansion of the shaving aid when activated. The ejection port (68) directs the shaving aid from the reservoir onto the shaving strip (64) upon activation of the actuator (130).
