Abstract

1. Apparatus for accumulating a rolled strip of ferromagnetic metal, comprising at least one movable guide cylinder (1), a first series of rollers (7) intended for the first strand of the rolled strip (5) and a second series of rollers (7') intended for the second strand of the rolled strip (5), and in which apparatus at least the first strand of the said strip (5) is retained as result of a magnetic effect against magnetic rollers (7) external to the loop formed by the strip (5), characterized in that the said magnetic rollers each consist of a hollow cylinder (11) rotating about its axis and possessing, on the inside, one or more stationary magnetization devices (12) which exert a sufficient attractive force on the strip (5) to lay it against the outer wall of the said magnetic rollers.
