Abstract

The method involves fitting a radome (4) made of plastic material to a capsule-shaped radome frame (2) made of high-grade steel. The outer circumference of the radome frame is arranged over the interior extent of the lower end of the radome tube (4a). The radome has a radome cap (4b) glued on the upper end of the radome tube, such that the bonding slit (5') between the radome cap and radome tube is filled with adhesive and formed diagonally with respect to a longitudinal axis (10). The radome and radome carrier form an antenna cap (1) for covering a radio tower (9). An independent claim is included for the antenna cap.
