Abstract

The invention relates to a closure for closing and reclosing a bag (32; 52; 76), said closure comprising a strip (12; 42; 62) that can be placed around the gathered neck (34; 54; 74) of a bag (32; 52; 76), and can be closed by means of two detachable connection points (20) approximately arranged on the opposite end regions (14, 16) of the strip (12; 42), and a tongue (22; 44; 64) that can be lifted out of the strip (12; 42; 62), is placed around the gathered neck (34; 54; 74) in order to close the bag, and can be inserted into the opening (30; 73) created by lifting up the tongue (22; 44; 64). The invention is characterised in that the tongue (22; 44; 64) extends only between the connection points (18; 20), and is connected in the region of one of the connection points in a fixed, and thus non-removable, manner.
