Abstract
A probe comprises a body (1) having an opening (2) sealed by a flat membrane (3) which is permeable for volatile components; and a sensor (4) arranged in the body to measure the volatile component. A probe comprises a body (1) having an opening (2) sealed by a flat membrane (3) which is permeable for volatile components; and a sensor (4) arranged in the body to measure the volatile component. A measuring surface of the sensor is arranged in a first measuring chamber (6a). The inner side of the flat membrane forms a wall of a second measuring chamber (6b). The two measuring chambers are joined via a measuring opening (11). The second measuring chamber is connected to a carrier gas feed line (7) or carrier gas removal line (8). An independent claim is also included for a process for operating a probe.
