Abstract
The sheet transport device has a rotary transport organ, e.g. a transport disc (1), for forwarding the sheet (7) from a reception position to a delivery position, provided with at least one clamp slot for the front edge of the sheet and a displacement organ coupled to the rotary transport organ, for sidewards movement of the sheet parallel to the rotation axis of the latter via a roller drive element (16) rolled across the sheet surface.
