Abstract
The cable has a center conductor (1) surrounded by an insulating layer (3). An external sheath (10) surrounding the insulating layer comprises an external layer (12) that contacts an internal layer (11). The layers (11, 12) are made of fireproof synthetic material. A metal screen contacts the internal layer. The external layer is decomposed into a heat insulating layer when it is subjected to a heat source.
