Abstract

The invention relates to a tool-receiving device (1) comprising a tool girder (2) that is provided with a clamping device (5), a groove-shaped tool (4) seat (3) located inside the tool girder (2), especially for the top tool of a folding press, at least one locking element (39) that is movable in a tool head (50) in a direction extending perpendicular to a lateral area (41, 42) of the tool, and a retaining mechanism (14) for the tools (4). Guiding members (18) are disposed equidistant (46) from each other in a longitudinal direction (16) within a leg (19) of the tool girder (3). Said guiding members (18), inside which retaining means (15) for the tools (4) are mounted in a displaceable manner, extend perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (16).
