Abstract
The invention relates to an axial piston compressor, in particular for the air conditioning system of a motor vehicle. Said compressor comprises a housing and a compressor unit, which is situated in the housing and operated by a drive shaft (104), for drawing in and compressing a coolant. The compressor unit comprises pistons (118) that are displaced axially back and forth in a cylinder block and an adjustable plate that drives the pistons, rotates with the drive shaft (104) and is configured as a swash or wobble plate or pivoting ring (107).
