Abstract

A synchronization system for the Nebula infrastructure is described, by means of which a synchronism system is provided which permits knowing at all times the situation we are in within the chain of meters, and which likewise permits synchronization between equipment which start running at different times, without the need of a centralized synchronism system. To do so, the invention foresees the establishment of a starting instant which all the elements of the system are referenced to. The time elapsed from the starting instant is determined by use of the time reference from a GPS receptor, whose initiation carries out the synchronization of the dependent cards of the corresponding timers. Also, the PPS output of the GPS receiver permits synchronizing the meter generating the 1/4 symbol time with this signal, a precision required by the TETRA standards. <IMAGE>
