Abstract

1. Joining piece for connecting a hollow profile mullion to a frame, in particular a window frame, which is arranged approximately transversally to said mullion, said joining piece having a stand to be arranged longitudinally to said frame, said stand further comprising opposed fixing portions in longitudinal direction, said portions being fixable to said frame from outside said mullion, said joining piece having a guide stub projecting approximately from the center of said stand and allowing to arrange thereon said hollow profile of said mullion, which may be provided with interior reinforcements, said joining piece further comprising recesses in the bottom surface of said stand contacting said frame, and that inside the guide stub there is provided an opening joining with said recesse, characterized in that said opening, which serves as an injection port (13) for sealing material, is formed inside said guid stub (6), that said recesses (10) in said stand (7) are designed to form a uniform surface terminating in said injection port (13) with increasing depth, and that said recesses (10) extend longitudinally into said openings of said fixing portions (8) outside of said mullion, and transversally into said longitudinally oriented lateral surfaces (11, 12).
