Abstract
The piston chamber (2) of the pump is sealed at both ends by membranes (24, 26) moved by the motion of the piston (1). The upper surface (8) and a cylindrical extension (6) on top of the piston (1) are positioned within the piston chamber (2). Two ring-shaped areas (23, 25), both attached to the extension (6) with the edges of the two membrane valves (24, 26) form the outer walls of the piston chamber (2). The arrangement is completed by an additional outlet chamber (21) leading to the nozzle (31).
