Abstract

The chair has a backrest carrier (4) located under the seat, with a holding zone (12) open upwards and to the rear. The holding zone takes the mounting section (10) of the backrest coupling (6) in a positive fit. A clamping plate (7) grips over the inserted mounting. An eccentric (9) under the backrest carrier clamps the plate in position. The base of the holding zone has longitudinal recesses (14) to take the leg fasteners (11) at the coupling, to hold it locked in place for safety, and the coupling can only be removed when the legs are raised.
