Abstract
The cable has a central core (3), power wires (1) laid around the core and at least one control line also laid around the co At least one data line (4) is enclosed by a screening mesh of metal wires with an optical coverage of at least 85 per cent with flat pitch angle of between 50 and 60 degrees. The mesh screening the power wires has an optical coverage of at least 80 per cen and the core has a central traction element (14) enclosed by a casing (15) of curable material with indentations (16) for wires. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a flexible electric high current cable.
