Abstract

The drum (1) consists of at least two walls (1c) and at least one flap (1d,e) which swivels by one of its vertical edges (1f) on one of the vertical edges of the two drum-walls to form a hinge. The flap is bolted by a second vertical edge along the corresponding edge of the opposite drum-wall. The shape of the interior formed inside the drum-walls and the flap(s) matches the outer shape of the contents being centrifuged (10). The base surface (1a) of the rotary drum has a mechanical conveyor (9a).
