In this design the extinguishing agent tank (4, 4', 4", 4''') is not affected by the overpressure of the gas in the pressure tank (6). The extinguishing agent tank (4, 4', 4", 4''') of the fire extinguisher (1) can be light in weight and accept a greater quantity of the extinguishing agent (15). In addition, the pressurised gas can be at a very high pressure (> 150 bar).
