Abstract

The edging strip comprises a U-shaped main section which fits over the edge of plasterboard (28) and with two lower flanges to form a H-profile. The lower flanges are joined to the strip by thin wall sections to enable either to be broken off after fitting to the plasterboard. A self adhesive foam strip secured the outer edge of the profile to the adjoining wall e.g. to a window/door frame. A protective foil on the outside of the foam strip is removed before fitting.
