Abstract

The invention relates to a guide bracket (5) for ropes (12), especially for rigging on sail boats. The guide bracket (5) is provided with an installation section (1) which allows the bracket to be fastened to a bar-shaped part (11) of the boat. The installation section (1) is constructed such that it is concave, and such that it at least partially encloses a first axis (A). The guide bracket (5) comprises a guide section (3) on which the ropes (12) can be placed. The invention provides that the guide section (3) extends from the installation section (1) while forming an angle with the first axis (A). The guide section forms a guide surface (4) which impedes a displacement of the ropes (12) along or parallel to the first axis (A).
