Abstract

An optimized prediction of a parameter, especially of a traffic parameter, is made possible by a method for predicting a first parameter which represents the state of a system, whereby at least one of a number of load curves which represents a time lapse of the first parameter representing the state of the system is assigned to data relevant to a second parameter of the system, and the first parameter is predicted for a future time on the basis of the data and at least one assigned load curve. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.
