Abstract

A washing line comprises a multi-armed frame which holds the washing line (6), and a device (26) which draws the line into hollow arms (4) when the frame is in the collapsed state. The line has closed corners, and the corner points (8) are guided inside the arms via openings (12). Pushing members (9) for the line have two adjacent grooves (15), in which two sections (17) of the line (6) form the corner (8).The pushing members pref. consist of a thermoplastic.
