Abstract

Shutter profiles are moved along U-shaped profile grooves (211,221) in the box side walls (21,22) using a cable counterweight to prevent any accidental opening or closing of the shutters (1). The cable (7) extends above the profiles, being attached to a profile at one end and passing around at least two guide rolls (4,5) in a block and tackle arrangement. A spring (6) between the guide rolls absorbs momentum from the cable. The arrangement of the cable, guide rolls and spring is along the top edge of the shutter profiles. Eyelets (8,81) are provided at opposite ends of the profile (11) with the lowest cable tension, through which the cable extending between the guide rolls and the profile (9) with the handle in it is passed. As the shutters are lifted to open them the cable is urged into contact with the eyelets.
