Abstract

The cistern comprises a cylindrical tank (1). The tank is mounted on a base (3) made from slats or of a plastics material, which has a density of less than 1.2. The area of the base is such that the area of the tank projected onto it is less than 0.8:1, preferably less than 0.6:1. The tank is attached to the base by straps (4).
