Abstract

In order to improve the environmental acceptability and especially the recyclability of a multi-core, plastic-insulated, low-voltage heavy current cable, in which the core insulation (2), inner sleeve (4) and outer sleeve (5) are made of a halogen-free uncrosslinked plastic, the same, black-coloured basic material is used for the core insulation, the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve, and the core insulation is marked, preferably by a coloured longitudinal stripe (3). The various components of the cable, consisting of the same plastic material, do not need to be separated in a recycling process.
